precibarium
n. [L. prae, before; L. cibarius, pertaining to food]
(ARTHROPODA: Insecta)
A canal formed by the union of the epipharynx and the hypopharynx, providing a connecting link between the food canal of the maxillary stylets and the cibarial pump.
